We Have Drywall!!

Last week we had our insulation installed and our energy star testing done. Thursday was our energy testing, well we failed. Out of our 3 zones the main floor failed, there was a leak somewhere in our HVAC ductwork. Thursday the HVAC guys came and did some work and they re tested on Friday. Friday our SR called to tell me that we passed! Of course this pushed our drywall back one day but such is life. Saturday was the day we were now scheduled to have our drywall started. Saturday evening we stopped by the house, to be honest the whole way there I was thinking that they didn't do the drywall and I was going to cry! But we pulled up and we could see the drywall in the garage! We walked in the house and were amazed the entire house every wall had been drywalled!!! In one day they did everything! All that is left is the mudding and sanding. According to our PM they scheduled 5 days for drywall, I am hoping that they are able to go faster and cut that down maybe a day or 2! After they finish that it will take 1 day for trim and then they can start painting.
We also had our siding, trim and shutters delivered and they were sitting in the garage, we were told our builder wont do the siding till after drywall. And all of the extra mountains of dirt were hauled away and we could finally really see the backyard!
I am still worried about the June 10th deadline but I am at least happy to see so much finally accomplished this past week.
