Hello everyone, welcome to our
blog and join us as we build Our ***** with *** Builder .
Our goal is that this blog will
offer advice and experiences for people building a home, and add as an
additional source for others that are looking to build a home. we are going to
write about advice that we have gotten from research or talking with friends
and how we'll use it to move forward with the entire process. We will also talk
about how our experience is going, what we are glad we did or what we
wish we would had done differently. We hope that someone
reading this blog will gain insight and their process will be improved
from our experiences. We are starting this blog just after signing
our offer with *** Builders today so we do not know yet if the process
will be great or not though we know valuable information will come from it. The
next few posts will be about the process so far, and then after that we will
do our best to blog about the process as they ensue.
We will also like to note that, we
are not being paid; nor are we affiliated with *** or anyone in
their organization so our blogging will be honest and helpful to others. Let me
point out that our journey started exactly a year and 2 months ago when we
were looking at floor plans online. We came across many blogs. After reading
and researching builders and the build process we decided to build new
construction. During the process we discovered that *** Builders has the
******** that is a very similar floor plan and elevation, with better Square
footage, as well as being 30K dollars cheaper then the RH Avalon in a
community near us. Though we had visited a nearby RH Avalon model and spoken to
the SR, the reception we received from the SR at *** in addition to the
option to use our own lender and still receive their incentives as well as
make changes to their floor plan swayed us to build with them.
So thank you all that are going
to follow us on this journey, I hope that we can learn as much from you as you
learn from us as we build our dream home!
