New close date, updates and some venting!

Well we are not closing on Monday,  according to our lender,  we should have U&O on Tuesday hopefully. I'm trying to stay calm until we have our keys in our hands but everyday it gets harder and harder. After speaking to our lender knowing that we were not going to close before our rate expires, we decided to extend the rate for 7 days and close on Friday the 14th.

On a positive note  they have been very busy at the house trying to get things done, I just wish this would've happened 2 weeks ago so we could close on time. Today when we stopped by with the rain pouring, it was a circus inside, we had trim guys, painters, electricians and HVAC! The sod was supposed to be put down today but was delayed because of the rain, hopefully tomorrow that will be done! The house is looking great and we are very happy with the way things have been done and we know that we are going to have a great house in the end!
