Today the framers were
working hard and the first floor is almost finished. I drove by in the
afternoon and they had the floor laid and a few walls up.

Once K got home we went over to the lot together and I was shocked to see how much had been done!

We noticed 2 mistakes that were custom changes we made to the floor plan. One being they still framed for a window in the kitchen when we removed that and in the kitchen we removed the desk area and instead added a closet in the laundry/mud room. I know that mistakes happen and with all the custom changes we have made to the floor plan I am sure there will be many. I emailed our SR because she is off today and tomorrow so that she could forward my email to the PM (Again hate that we don't have direct contact with him) thinking that the sooner they know about these mistakes it would be easier for them to fix them. And I got a nasty text message from her, according to our SR I know nothing and am just jumping to conclusions!!! Well I came right back at her and her next message was much more customer friendly, but I am still not happy at all. We are spending way too much money on this house to be treated like that. But I am not going to let her put a damper on my happiest of having a first floor framed.
